Department of Psychology

About

 The Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Sciences and Literature of Adıyaman University has not yet been activated because it does not have the sufficient number of faculty members according to the criteria determined by the Council of Higher Education to continue education. Necessary studies are being carried out to activate the Department of Psychology as soon as possible.

Mission and Vision

Mission

The Department of Psychology will undertake to raise individuals who are inquisitive, entrepreneurial, questioning, participatory, dynamic, who embrace their cultural values, and who can think universally in the sub-branches of psychology; to serve humanity by contributing to science; and to contribute to the development of the country and the region.

Vision

It will have the vision of being a pioneering department that is open to technological innovations, entrepreneurial and internationally competitive; conducting creative and useful research in various fields at an international level that will leave its mark on human history, under the guidance of its teaching staff equipped with the knowledge, experience and infrastructure required by the 21st century; training highly qualified psychologists for the future of the country; and using its knowledge and education for the benefit of society.
