Department of History

About/History

Adıyaman University Department of History was established in 2007 within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and started accepting students in the 2009-2010 academic year.

Mission & Vision

It is the mission of this department to educate individuals with a historical perspective, who can think universally and do critical thinking, based on the determination that historical events and processes which play a primary role in the formation of the period we live in can be understood by examining them from a scientific method and interdisciplinary point of view.
