MISSION
The Department of Archaeology is committed to educating well-equipped individuals who possess the ability to use contemporary technologies in their profession in line with universal values, and to presenting its production in research, teaching, and service fields for the benefit of society. Among our primary objectives are training competent archaeologists capable of bringing to light the unique cultural assets of our country through scientific methods, and educating specialists who are able to preserve and exhibit these artifacts in our museums using modern approaches.

Our vision is to become a department that one is proud to be a member of in national and international contexts, contributing to our country’s advancement beyond the level of contemporary civilization through the education it provides and the knowledge, technology, and art it produces.
