

The Department of Archaeology at Adıyaman University was established in 2008 and began admitting students in the 2013–2014 academic year. The Archaeology Department offers a daytime education program, and the language of instruction is Turkish.The Undergraduate Program in Archaeology is completed in four years (8 semesters). In order to graduate, students must successfully complete all courses offered throughout the eight semesters and earn a total of 240 ECTS credits. Graduates are entitled to receive the title of Archaeologist. Students are required to attend classes and examinations. In the department, where attendance of at least 70% of courses is compulsory, student assessment is carried out through written exams, seminars, presentations, and coursework.
